Haringey Unchained participated in the 2017 North London Literary Festival at Middlesex University. After an exciting range of panel discussions and presentations about crossing genre and writing dystopias, the students: Zubeyde, Rafaella, Edith and Fatouma promoted the Haringey Unchained creative blog to a packed room of literary and creative art enthusiasts. They also participated in the Poetry Slam at the end.
The writers we met:

Afua Hirsch: writer, barrister, human rights activist

Warren Ellis: prolific comic book writer and writer of the Netflix anime series: Castlevania

Haringey Unchained (HU) was then invited back to the festival in 2018 to give their presentation again and to advertise the partnership between them and Middlesex University, who was our 3rd university partner. The theme of the festival was Story, and the visiting speakers focused predominantly on London and the story of our city. The students from HU participated in the Q&A section of the festival and passed out 50 copies of volume 2. It was a very successful event and the students were even more excited about getting started on volume 3 the following year.
